This Product Disclaimer applies to jewellery displayed, marketed or sold through www.jyotiluxe.com.

Please read the complete product description, dimensions, materials, care instructions and photographs before placing an order.

1. Product range

Jyoti Luxe offers premium designer and celebration jewellery across categories including:

  • American Diamond jewellery;
  • gold-plated jewellery;
  • rhodium-plated jewellery;
  • Kundan jewellery;
  • bridal and semi-bridal jewellery;
  • Rajwadi and heritage jewellery;
  • earrings;
  • necklaces;
  • rings;
  • bracelets;
  • mangalsutras;
  • chokers;
  • long haar sets; and
  • other jewellery and accessory sets.

The materials, finish, stones, size, weight and components may differ between products. The information provided on the specific product page and invoice is the primary description of the item purchased.

2. American Diamond jewellery

The terms “American Diamond”, “AD” and “CZ” are commonly used for simulated diamond-style stones, usually cubic zirconia.

Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, American Diamond jewellery sold by Jyoti Luxe:

  • does not contain natural or mined diamonds;
  • does not contain laboratory-grown diamonds;
  • should not be valued or represented as diamond jewellery; and
  • is not supplied with diamond grading or certification.

The appearance, cut, brilliance, clarity and colour of American Diamond stones may vary between designs, batches and stone sizes.

3. Kundan jewellery

“Kundan” may describe a traditional design, setting technique or visual style. It does not automatically mean that the product contains solid gold, natural gemstones or historically manufactured Kundan components.

The actual base metal, stones, plating and other materials used in a Kundan product will be as stated on the relevant product page.

Unless expressly stated and supported by appropriate documentation, Kundan-style stones may include glass, synthetic, simulated, composite or other decorative stones.

4. Gold-plated jewellery

Terms such as “gold-plated”, “22K gold-plated”, “real-gold finish” or “gold finish” describe a surface coating or finish applied over the product’s base metal.

They do not mean that:

  • the complete product is made of solid gold;
  • the product is hallmarked gold jewellery;
  • the product has the resale value of solid gold; or
  • every component, stone setting, clasp or accessory is made of gold.

Where “22K gold-plated” is stated, the reference applies to the gold-plated finish and not to the composition of the complete jewellery item.

The underlying base metal will be described on the product page wherever applicable.

5. Rhodium-plated jewellery

A rhodium-plated description refers to a rhodium-coloured or rhodium-plated surface finish over the disclosed base metal. It does not mean that the complete product is made of solid rhodium, platinum, silver or white gold.

6. Semi-precious and other stones

Products may contain semi-precious, synthetic, simulated, glass, crystal, composite or decorative stones, as specified or reasonably described on the product page.

Natural and semi-precious stones may contain variations in:

  • colour;
  • shade;
  • pattern;
  • transparency;
  • texture;
  • inclusions;
  • shape; and
  • size.

These natural variations are not ordinarily defects provided the product remains materially consistent with its description.

No gemstone should be treated as certified, investment-grade or naturally sourced unless this is expressly stated and supported by appropriate documentation.

7. Handmade and hand-finished characteristics

Many Jyoti Luxe products are handmade, hand-finished or assembled in small batches.

Minor variations may occur in:

  • polish;
  • plating tone;
  • stone placement;
  • texture;
  • symmetry;
  • enamel or decorative work;
  • dimensions;
  • weight; and
  • finishing.

Such variations can be part of the handmade character of the jewellery and are not automatically considered defects.

A substantial or material difference from the product listing may be reported under the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.

8. Product photographs and videos

Jyoti Luxe takes reasonable care to present products accurately. However, the appearance of a product may be affected by:

  • studio or natural lighting;
  • camera settings;
  • image editing;
  • background colours;
  • magnification;
  • reflections;
  • screen brightness;
  • display calibration; and
  • device settings.

The actual colour, gold tone, rhodium tone, stone shade or brilliance may therefore differ modestly from what appears on your screen.

Close-up photographs and videos may make a product appear larger than its actual size. Customers should review the stated measurements before purchase.

9. Measurements and weight

Dimensions, chain lengths, stone sizes and weights may be approximate unless expressly identified as exact.

Small differences may occur because of:

  • handmade production;
  • measurement methods;
  • batch differences;
  • product configuration; and
  • scale calibration.

The customer should review the measurements and styling references to determine whether the product is appropriate for the intended use.

Personal dissatisfaction with the size or appearance after failing to review the available measurements is not ordinarily an eligible return reason.

10. Styling items and product inclusions

Clothing, models, display stands, flowers, trays, decorative boxes and other styling accessories shown in photographs or videos are not included unless the product page expressly states otherwise.

Only the jewellery pieces, accessories and packaging specifically identified in the product description or order details are included.

11. Plating, wear and longevity

Jewellery plating and finish are not permanent. Their appearance and longevity depend on factors including:

  • frequency and duration of wear;
  • skin chemistry;
  • perspiration;
  • humidity;
  • climate;
  • contact with water;
  • perfume and cosmetics;
  • sanitiser and cleaning agents;
  • soap and hair products;
  • friction and abrasion;
  • impact;
  • storage; and
  • compliance with care instructions.

Normal plating fade, tarnish, discolouration or loss of shine caused by use, moisture, chemicals, impact or improper storage is not ordinarily considered a manufacturing defect.

Jyoti Luxe does not make a general promise that every product is permanently anti-tarnish or that its plating will remain unchanged for a fixed period.

12. Brand tagline

“Beautifully Dressed, Unmistakably You” is Jyoti Luxe’s brand tagline. It expresses the brand’s focus on distinctive personal styling and helping customers feel beautifully dressed for important occasions.

It is not:

  • a technical product specification;
  • a durability warranty;
  • a promise of permanent plating;
  • an assurance of allergy-free wear; or
  • a guarantee that a product will suit every customer’s personal preference.

13. Jewellery care

To help preserve the product’s appearance:

  • keep jewellery away from water and excessive moisture;
  • avoid applying perfume, cosmetics, sanitiser or hair products directly onto it;
  • remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping;
  • avoid pulling, bending, dropping or exposing it to impact;
  • wipe it gently with a clean, soft and dry cloth after use;
  • store pieces separately to reduce scratches and tangling;
  • keep jewellery in a dry pouch or box; and
  • follow any product-specific care instructions supplied by Jyoti Luxe.

Harsh cleaners, polishing chemicals and abrasive materials should not be used unless expressly recommended.

14. Skin sensitivity

Individual skin sensitivity can vary depending on personal allergies, skin chemistry, perspiration and sensitivity to particular metals, plating or adhesives.

Unless a specific product claim is supported by appropriate testing, Jyoti Luxe does not represent that its jewellery is:

  • hypoallergenic;
  • allergy-free;
  • nickel-free;
  • suitable for sensitive skin; or
  • appropriate for every individual.

Discontinue use if irritation, discomfort, redness or swelling occurs. Seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.

15. Product use and safety

Jewellery may contain:

  • small stones or components;
  • chains;
  • hooks;
  • pins;
  • clasps;
  • pointed edges; or
  • detachable decorative parts.

Jewellery is not a toy and should be kept away from babies and young children. It should be used only for its intended ornamental purpose.

Jyoti Luxe is not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse, unauthorised alteration, improper handling or use contrary to the care and safety instructions, subject to applicable law.

16. No general warranty

Jyoti Luxe does not provide a general product warranty unless a specific warranty is expressly stated on the relevant product page, invoice or written communication.

Repair, replating or restoration support may be considered case by case depending on:

  • the product;
  • its age and condition;
  • the nature of the damage;
  • availability of stones or components;
  • technical feasibility; and
  • applicable service charges.

Nothing in this section limits a remedy required by law for a product that was defective, deficient, spurious or materially misdescribed when supplied.

17. Product availability

Some products may be produced or stocked in limited quantities. A product may become unavailable after an order is placed because of:

  • stock discrepancies;
  • quality-check rejection;
  • damage before dispatch;
  • discontinuation; or
  • other operational circumstances.

If Jyoti Luxe cannot fulfil an order, the customer will be informed and any amount collected for the unavailable product will be refunded.

18. Pricing and catalogue errors

Jyoti Luxe may correct an obvious typographical, pricing, material or catalogue error.

If an error materially changes the product description, availability or amount payable, Jyoti Luxe may:

  • contact the customer for confirmation;
  • offer an appropriate alternative; or
  • cancel the affected item and issue a refund.

Jyoti Luxe will not substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement.

19. Third-party names and references

Any third-party trademark, designer name, brand name or reference appearing on the website may be used only where lawful and for legitimate identification or descriptive purposes.

Such a reference does not imply:

  • endorsement;
  • sponsorship;
  • collaboration;
  • authorisation; or
  • affiliation

unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Jyoti Luxe should not use a designer or third-party brand name—including “inspired” naming—in a manner that suggests an association without appropriate written authorisation and legal clearance.

20. Returns and statutory rights

Minor handmade variations, ordinary screen-colour differences, personal preference and normal wear are not automatically considered product defects.

Customers may submit a claim under the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy where:

  • the product arrives damaged or defective;
  • the wrong product is received;
  • the product materially differs from the listing; or
  • a product or included accessory is missing.

Jyoti Luxe does not offer returns or exchanges for a change of mind.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes any representation, liability, guarantee or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.
